General objective:

The general objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of addiction prevention programmes externally, provide diagnoses and recommendations for improvement and support local entities in implementing and monitoring these improvements, with the aim of increasing the quality and effectiveness of their interventions.

Summary:

Temis is a three-phase programme comprising preparation/design, analysis, diagnosis and recommendations, and follow-up, final evaluation and dissemination. It selects local entities with addiction prevention programmes, reviews their documentation and data, designs customised evaluation systems and tools, conducts mixed (quantitative and qualitative) research, makes recommendations and supports the implementation and monitoring of improvements to ensure their integration and sustainability. Expected results include selecting two entities for external evaluation, producing results reports and carrying out dissemination activities.
