Main Objective:

To provide technical support for the development of the Local Plan for the Prevention of Addiction and Problematic Screen Use in Canet de Mar.

Summary:

Episteme is collaborating with the Town Councils of Canet de Mar, alongside the Barcelona Provincial Council, to create new Local Plans for the Prevention of Addiction and Problematic Screen Use. These Prevention Plans for both drug-related and non-drug-related addictions are crucial tools for planning public health policies at the municipal level, aimed at ensuring a decent quality of life for all residents.

The Prevention Plans play a pivotal role in shaping a comprehensive municipal strategy against addictions, encompassing prevention, intervention, and treatment of addictive behaviours. As such, these plans provide benefits to the entire community, regardless of whether individuals are directly affected by addiction or not.
